Evolution has always been a part of our lives. According to theories namely the Charles Darwin Evolution Theory, we resulted from the evolution of apes or monkeys. In technology, evolution is also greatly experienced.
One example of this is the evolution of disks/multi media storage capacities. Once there were betamax tapes, then there were the vhs tapes, then the compact disks, the dvd and now the bluray disks. The main difference of the latter three is that they have more storage capacity and as for the bluray, it promotes high definition. We can only wonder what they would invent next.

The human brain is very delicate and very complex. It is difficult to understand and although some scientists are now attempting to use nanotechnology and all those biotechnology researches, computer memory could not be able to overcome the power of the human brain.
We may be wondering how we are able to retain a memory for a long time but somehow forget other past experiences easily. This is how the brain works: Whenever we experience something, or we obtain information, our brain records that information by connecting the group of neurons that take in encoding the event and strengthening that bond. This pattern is stored in the brain and is called the Engram. This engram will be store and will not be used unless that particular memory is awakened and retrieved by the person. However this experience is only stored if that experience is meaningful to the person. If it is not, the memory is only stored in the brain’s phonological loop which is for short term memory purposes only.

Disintegrating memory is not a problem experienced only by the elderly. It is actually proven through studies that when a person reaches 30 or 35 his or her memory starts to disintegrate. Memory loss is not only caused by aging. Head injuries, smoking and drinking may as well cause rapid memory loss.
But like laptop memory, our own memory can as well be enhanced and memory loss can always be prevented. One of which is eating foods rich in vitamins B and E. These vitamins help you keep your brain cells healthy and properly working. Drinking enough amounts of water keep you body hydrated lessening that stress that may occur in your brain. Writing down things on the other helps improve your memory. Your hands have a better retention than your mouth, thus writings would make you remember faster than saying it the things repeatedly. Reading and studying may as well enhance your memory for it helps you exercise the capacity of your memory.
